Anime - Japanese Animation
Baka - Japanese word for idiot or fool
Loosely put an Anime Baka is someone who's crazy about Anime. However interpretation's may vary. I tend to think of Anime Baka as meaning something like drooling fan boy/girl.
Wrote this a long time ago. Too short for an article:
Perverted - Hentai in Japanese. But the word pervert means deviation from normal or accepted. So, how can all guys be perverts?
Did you ever notice that the sex scene in the movie is generally at about the same realative place as the guitar solo in a song?
Here are the ones I read.
Don't read this, it's very, very, very bad. Written by a Canadian who now lives in Japan. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated much recently.
You can read this one. It's generally PG. It's wonderful fun. I'm particularly fond of the Hell Kittens. Torg Potter and the Chamberpot of Secretions is pretty fun/bad also.
I have this in hardbound (softcover) format. It's really kinda bad, but not too bad. I really liked the final story arc with the lesbian couple. Unfortunately the first part of the story seems to be down right now. It starts out with some old growing food in the fridge getting flushed and turning into a tentacle monster. Did I mention that the Baka-Echi Fairy comes from this comic? She hits you over the head with a big hammer when you have dirty thoughts.
So if you liked Exploitation Now, but wish it had a really good plot line, a semi medieval/fantasy environment and cussing kitty getting fire balled, then Errant Story is for you. It's the current work of Michael Poe (of Exploitation Now) and is very good. I'm a few months behind as I've been busy. I like Meji, but she's often kinda pain.
Which brings me to my current comic Love: ...........
This is the story of two geeks, well a gamer and a geek, who decide to randomly take a flight to Tokyo one afternoon. It involves schoolgirls with superpowers, idols, giant monsters, ninjas, and online gaming. It's very good. I have the first three volumes in hard copy. Also being able to read 1337 (leet) is very important to the comic, but it will bring you along slowly so don't worry. I include a link to the leet joke (of all time) after the main link.
Leet comic parody (see if you know what from)
Get your +1 Coffee mug:
Ones that I've heard are good:
Dr. McNinja, ace doctor, silly ninja!
Gunnerkrigg Court, school the supernatural British way.
The Book of Biff, pre-order your books now!
Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire, because magic always has to go array.
Dan and Mab's Furry Adventures, more crazy than you can shake a multidimensional warp aki at.
